Frequently Asked Questions

Required material

What are digital image requirements for entry?

Entries, without exception, must be in digital format. Jpg images must be under 4mb and a maximum of 4800px on the longest side.  Film/video art only may be attached as MP4, MOV, or may be linked to VIMEO or YouTube

How important is the quality of the artwork photograph I send?

Image quality is very important. This is the only exposure to your artwork the jurors will have, and a poor representation (such as a blurred image, or one affected by glare, dim lighting, or unnecessary background objects) will reduce your chances of being selected.

How many submissions and images can I upload?

Each submission is one, single entry, but you may submit up to 3 entries (individual works) and up to 2 images of each work (for example, if you have sculpture, you may submit two views of the artwork)

Are there entry fees?

The entry fee is a non-refundable, one-time fee of $35 for all three entries

Aside from the entry fee for the contest, will there be additional charges?

When an artist is selected for the exhibition, he/she will be responsible for all arrangements and costs connected to delivery/shipping to and from the exhibition space and for insuring the artwork while it is in transit.
